How we research, write, update and correct this site's guidance.
How content is made
Each guide starts with a specific user task. We describe the input assumptions, steps, measurements, boundaries and cases where a tool is unnecessary. Product capability claims are checked against dated official pages; when a claim cannot be verified, we leave it out or state the uncertainty.
We do not copy vendor copy as independent analysis or turn testimonials into site-wide performance claims. Illustrative audit examples are labeled as examples, not customer case studies.
Commercial separation
A possible affiliate relationship does not decide the audit result. Eligibility rules, no-tool outcomes and product limitations are published before any affiliate link is enabled. Editorial pages may link to official product pages without a tracking link.
Review and correction
