Instagram comment to a useful DM

A narrow pilot for creators who receive repeat questions under posts.

The situation

Imagine a post regularly receives questions about availability or a specific resource. The first job is to answer that question, not to send every commenter a generic promotion.

Work through it

  1. Review a sample of comments and define the exact trigger worth responding to. Exclude reactions and unrelated remarks.
  2. Draft a private reply that matches the comment and offers an obvious human route for cases the flow cannot answer.
  3. Test the supported trigger on the actual account, then record useful replies, confusion and accepted handoffs for a small pilot.

What to measure

  • Relevant comments receiving the intended response
  • Useful replies and qualified conversations
  • Human handoffs accepted

Boundaries

  • Platform and account permissions must be checked on the current configuration.
  • A comment does not by itself authorize unrelated marketing across channels.

Questions for your own workflow

  1. What is the repeated question?
  2. What reply would be expected?
  3. Who takes over when the answer is not simple?
