Website lead without an owner
Repair the handoff from form submission to a named responder.
The situation
A form can collect all the right fields and still fail if nobody accepts the new record. This scenario is a routing problem before it is an acquisition problem.
Work through it
- Submit a safe test form and trace where it lands. Confirm timestamps, notifications, duplicate handling and the status seen by the team.
- Name a first owner and backup with an acceptance rule. Keep the original request attached to the assigned record.
- Review unassigned and overdue submissions daily for two weeks, then change the routing rule that caused the misses.
